We were pleased to share our spinning, weaving, crochet, knitting and angoras with our local community on Opening Day of the Orting Farmer's Market. It was fun to reconnect with people we haven't seen in years and meet others, including a few who were visiting from out of state!
It was a perfect day with warm weather, and smiling folks enjoying the fresh produce and treats from vendors around the area. Glass workers, Farmers with fresh Berries and veggies, Face painters, Balloon animal maker, Snow Cones, Smoked cheeses and meats, Jewelry makers, Fudge, Flower growers, Roasted Nuts, Crocheters, a Bouncy House, (and we were right next to the Kettle Corn gals) ~ all brought their wares to share with us! I'm sure I missed a few, but there was a lot of fun to be had! All in all, a great day to meet others, encourage them in the fiber arts and let them snuggle a few fuzzy faces.
