Welcome to quiet life amongst the forest, rivers and fauna of a small town in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Named for the meandering creek winding about our property year round; our land was originally homesteaded in the 1940's when mercantiles were losing favor.
Through the years the Lord has provided ways for us to learn a variety of skills and we thought a 'Mercantile' best described the unique plethora of custom creations and support we offer. We've learned to value the old ways and desire to share opportunities to appreciate, capture, and apply the essence of country life through our experience (in our excerpts) and hand crafted items made on our active homestead. As well, each of our young-in's have pages to inspire other youth in their own creative endeavors. If you're inclined, learn about our earliest beginnings, including the many resources we found so valuable, in our journey. Much like visiting the 'ol Mercantile and chatting with friends & neighbors experiencing similar circumstances, we hope you are refreshed, encouraged and glean much - giving the Lord Jesus Christ all praise and glory.
