Today we're pleased to share a dear 'Prairie Girls' friends' homespun yarn made from several of the Trickle Creek Fiber Batts. She was ever-so creative, plying them on themselves and other solid fibers to create quite the 'earthy' variety from a few similar batts~ Isn't her work beautiful?!
She loves the ease in which she spun it up and praised the softness of the fiber blend. 'It feels so nice and it's so easy to spin!' She enjoys using her Ashford 'Traveler' spinning wheel that is quite portable and versatile with the double drive enhancement. Originally purchased as a birthday gift, by her hubby, from 'Aunty Lyn', she's learned to get creative amongst roving, curious young-ins' by creating a 'spin cage' to keep little fingers from the fast moving wheel.
