life in the land around us! Even in one of the hottest, driest summers in history it is still so much more colorful on the well known wet, drippy & soggy side of Washington State. These HUGE areas of E. Washington cropland are so vast they use airplanes to spray them with fertilizer and/or insecticides. Although we garden without the use of chemicals, and instead use natural minerals, compost, compost tea and our healthy animal manures; we were intrigued seeing this crop duster in action for the first time. We wondered if there are any farms that use these for Compost Tea?
